The experience
Christmas is made up of the little things. The excitement of writing letters to Santa, choosing toys, wrapping presents, and curling up together for a Christmas story.
This year, Hollow & Hearth is bringing a cosy farmhouse Christmas nook to life. One beautifully styled, interactive space filled with little moments to discover, from the toy wardrobe and rocking chair to the warmth of the fireplace.
There’s no need for perfectly posed smiles or little ones sitting still. These sessions are designed for exploring, playing, cuddling and simply enjoying a little Christmas magic together.
A relaxed, nostalgic experience where the memories are just as beautiful as the photographs.

How much do I need to pay to book my Christmas Minis?
A $50 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date and time. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your session. You'll choose your preferred date and time first, then select your Christmas collection during booking.
When and where are the Christmas Minis held?
Our 2026 Christmas Minis will take place in my Pimpama photography studio on November 21, 22, 28 and 29, and December 5, 6 and 12. Each session is up to 20 minutes, with a beautifully styled Christmas setting ready for your family to enjoy.
What if my children won't sit still or smile?
That's completely okay! These sessions are designed to be playful, relaxed and full of little moments. From writing letters to Santa and exploring the Christmas toys to snuggling by the fireplace, there's plenty for little ones to enjoy without needing to sit perfectly still or smile on command.
What should we wear for our Christmas photos?
Think cosy Christmas mornings! Soft creams, warm browns, deep reds, forest greens and traditional festive colours will complement our nostalgic farmhouse Christmas setting beautifully. Christmas pyjamas, knitted outfits and coordinated family clothing are all welcome. I'll also share styling guidance before your session.
Can we include the whole family in our Christmas Minis?
Absolutely! Christmas memories are for everyone, not just the little ones. Parents and siblings are more than welcome to join in for cuddles by the fireplace, Christmas stories and all those beautiful little moments together.
Each booking is for one immediate family household, so extended family members or multiple households will need separate bookings.
When will we receive our Christmas photos?
Your images will be carefully selected and beautifully edited by me, so there's no need to choose favourites from a proofing gallery. Your completed collection will be delivered through a private online gallery, ready to download and share. Gallery upgrades can also be requested after your session.
